Before you read this review of @mybeautydiaryus Horse Oil Mask, if you are opposed to horse oil products for moral or any reason, please look away. Horse fat is listed as one of the ingredients albeit one of the bottom few, after fragrance. I love the artwork on the packaging, it's a classy looking horse adorned in pearls. The packaging is different from the usual glossy smallish packets that most MBD masks come in. This variety comes in a larger packet with a matte finish. Me likey. This is also pricier than MBD's usual line of sheet masks. The material is pretty soft and thin and comes with the usual plastic backing. There was hardly any scent to the watery and clear essence, unusual for an MBD mask, not that I'm complaining. The fit was atrocious. Eye and mouth holes are too small, hence the awkward facial expression. The positioning of the hole are also very out of place for me. If I aligned the eye holes just below my brows to avoid getting essence in my eyes when I blink, the mouth hole will be on my philtrum instead of my mouth. I ended up snipping the eye holes wider. I had this on for about 45 mins and it was still pretty damp. No sensitivity encountered throughout. Right away I noticed how bright and even my skin looks. Redness has also been reduced. Hydration was just alright, had to add a light moisturizer, kinda weird considering this is marketed as a hydrating mask. Me thinks this will be great as an everyday mask for oily skin peeps or all peeps in the summer.
